- the email address you sign in with;
- your workspace name and the project address, if your question is about a project; and
- what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you have one.
What Permitify covers
Permitify researches residential permits in Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, starting with decks and driveways. If you ask about another place or type of work, Permitify will tell you it isn't covered yet rather than guess.
Want your jurisdiction or project type next? Email support.permitify@gmail.com with the city or county and the kind of work. Requests help us decide what to add.
Signing in
You can sign in at app.permitify.ai with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google.
- The code didn't arrive: check your spam or promotions folder, wait a minute, then request a new code and use the newest one.
- You signed up with Google: use the Google button again so you land in the same account.
- You were invited to a workspace: sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to.
Using Permitify in Claude
Add Permitify as a custom connector in Claude with this address: https://app.permitify.ai/api/mcp. Then describe the job in a conversation, such as "Do I need a permit for a deck at 123 Main St, Charlotte?"
You can research permits without signing in. To keep the results, open the link Permitify gives you to save the roadmap to a project. Save links work once and expire after 24 hours. If yours expired, ask for the research again to get a new link.
To create projects, tasks and documents from Claude, Claude will ask you to sign in to Permitify and choose a workspace.
Something in a roadmap looks wrong
Every requirement in a roadmap links to the official source it came from. If a requirement is wrong, out of date, or missing, email support.permitify@gmail.com with the project address, the requirement, and the source you think is right. Always confirm requirements with the permitting office before you submit. See our Terms of Service for more.
Billing and your plan
Questions about your trial, plan, or invoices go to support.permitify@gmail.com. You can cancel a paid plan at any time, and your projects stay available to view and export.
Your data
To access, export, correct, or delete your information, or to close your account, email support.permitify@gmail.com from the address on your account. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Security
If you believe your account or data has been compromised, or you have found a security issue in Permitify, email support.permitify@gmail.com right away.
